CRP managed my rental property for nearly 3 years. Throughout that time we had two separate tenants living at our property and attempted to sell it in between these tenants. After the second tenant vacated we ultimately decided to terminate our agreement with CRP and go with another property management company.There were a few major instances that made us decide to leave CRP.After the first tenants moved out, we decided to put the house on the market for sale. Due to my job I was not able to be contacted for extended periods of time so my wife did much of the communicating with CRP. Throughout this process, we observed a pattern of lack of initiative and communication. We asked for an updated price analysis and the "analysis" we got was a list of comparables we can easily find ourselves on Zillow. with After being on the market for >60 days with only a few showings, we reached out to ask for recommendations for getting more interest. Instead of any plans or recommendations we just got asked what our opinions were instead of input from the professional.During this same vacancy, the air conditioning froze over at one point, a problem that we identified after realizing the electric bill was much higher than expected. During the hottest part of the summer it took several weeks for this to get repaired. It was like pulling teeth to get information about the status of the situation. The one estimate we got to fix the unit was incomprehensible in terms of fixing the actual problem and appeared to be highly inflated. Property management should be more than just a conduit between a contractor and a client. We expect that there is oversight of the contractor, again, analysis of the quote and whether it makes sense. We ended up finidng our own vendor and having it repaired for much cheaper than the quoted price fro CRP's vendor.After deciding to rent the house back out and tenants were in place once again, the tenants were failing to maintain the landscape presentable (not mowing/trimming). Our neighbor reached out to me about their concern as they were trying to sell their house. I informed CRP about the issue. They went to inspect it and claimed it wasn't that bad and expect it to be mowed the upcoming weekend. 7 days pass and I get a complaint again from my neighbor. Still nothing had been done. I inform CRP once again. Their response was if by the upcoming weekend it is still not mowed, they will send out theier vendor to get it done. 11 more days go by, my neighbor reaches out a third time saying nothing has been done. Over nearly a month, CRP was unable to figure out how to get the lawn mowed.Overall, with the nature of my work forcing me to be absent at times leaving my wife to do a lot of the coordination while having a young family, CRP did not lighten the load on our family to make renting this property as passive as possible for us. It felt like we received the bare minimum and at times less than the minimum required service.

I had asked for assistance in renting my property. The the owner of this agency sent an email to his co-workers and erroneously included me saying "hopefully she unfurnishes it".For the record I am an interior designer whose clients include the CEO's of Pepsi, NBC, Sony Music, Vanguard Fund, Calpahlon, Honeywell, McGraw-Hill, as well as Bruce Springsteen and Jack Ma (Alibaba) etc. etc.Random House has published 3 of my books and I have appeared on numerous TV shows including The Today Show.Horribly insulting and unprofessional.
